- A licensed Ohio attorney at the firm reviews and approves every draft before it is sent to you — nothing is delivered automatically — but that review is limited to the document itself and the answers you provided, not a broader review of your finances, family situation, or estate/legal planning generally.
- This engagement covers only the specific document(s) you purchase. It does not create an ongoing attorney-client relationship, does not include advice about your broader legal or financial situation, and does not include monitoring your situation for future changes in the law or your circumstances.
- If, based on your answers, the attorney reviewing your draft believes your situation is too complex for this limited-scope service (for example, a blended family, a business, real estate in multiple states, or a desire for tax or Medicaid planning), we may decline to complete the engagement and will let you know so you can consult an attorney for full representation instead.
What this means for you
Because this is real legal work product prepared by a licensed attorney for your specific facts (not a generic template), ordinary professional obligations of competence apply to the drafting itself. But because the engagement is intentionally limited in scope, it is not a substitute for comprehensive legal advice about your overall situation, and the firm has not reviewed anything beyond what you told us in the questionnaire. Laws change and circumstances vary — if your situation is complex, or you're unsure whether a limited-scope document is enough for your needs, please consult an attorney about full representation before relying on this document.
No guarantee of outcome
We make every effort to draft an accurate, properly formatted Ohio document based on your answers, but we make no guarantee that a court, agency, institution, or third party will accept or enforce it, or that it addresses every consideration relevant to your situation beyond the scope described above. You are responsible for reviewing your document carefully and for signing, witnessing, and/or notarizing it correctly — instructions are included with your download.
Digital delivery & refunds
Once your document is drafted and approved, it's delivered as a digital download by email. Download links expire 48 hours after approval and may be used up to 3 times. Because drafting work begins as soon as you submit your questionnaire, we can't offer refunds once a document has been drafted and reviewed. If you'd like to cancel before that point, contact support@ohiolegalforms.com.
